In March 2015, after more than 32 years living in Hastings on the south coast of England, my wife Louise and I sold our five story town house, built in 1650 ish, and moved to a small early 19th century flint and brick cottage in Wiltshire. It is now more than six months since the move. It is true to say that we are niether of us in the first flush of youth but are pleased to have made this move, we like the house and the locality and for the first time we have a small garden to play with(see next post).

‘Dom” Oil on Board –

Louise is a painter and has taken the second bedroom with its double aspect windows for her studio and is working on portraits of a young man who is the barista at the local coffee shop and a landscape of a local water meadow.
